A celebration of popular Japanese and Western characters in costume!
Many people attending the London MCM Expo dress as their favourite characters. Elves mingle with Ninja from the Hidden Villages and Jedi, making the event full of colour and life. Why not come in a costume from your favourite TV show, film, comic, videogame or anime yourself? Take part and join in the fun! You’re bound to have a great day, meet old acquaintances and make new friends with many of our regular cosplaying attendees.
COSPLAY POINT:
Run by friendly and experienced cosplayers the cosplay point returns for tickets to watch the masquerade, weapons checking, emergency costume repairs, and helpful advice found! Get changed into costume in the nearby changing rooms and leave bulky bags and delicate (and oversized!) accessories while enjoying the Expo*.
MASQUERADE:
Marvel at the craftsmanship in some amazing handmade costumes, enjoy the short skits andcosplay girl performances, or get on stage cosplay boyand feel the thrill of displaying your hard work to the audience- whether you like dressing up in costume or just want to watch, the masquerade offers entertainment for all.
The masquerade is a costume competition that will take place on the main stage in the afternoon of both days of the Expo and there are some great prizes to be won for the most talented entrants!
Tickets to watch are FREE once you have entered the London MCM Expo and available from the Cosplay Desk.
There are a limited number of places for people and groups wanting to take part – so if you want to take part in the masquerade we recommend you register online promptly when advance registrations OPEN.
Spaces have been known to fill up in less than 48 hours! See the forms and guides on the right for more information.
A small number of places will be available on each day of the Expo as well, and these will be issued on a first come, first served basis.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PERFORMANCES:
Audio tracks must be submitted in advance. It is strongly recommended that you prerecord any performance or skit, as microphones will not be available. Unsure how to go about this? Please do ask us for advice – see the contact information at the bottom of the page.

*Items are left at MCM Expo's discretion and can be refused, we will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to items, when you hand in the item that you want to store it will be placed in a black bag and secured until you return. Once taken out of the storage area the luggage can not be returned the same day.

ALOT is the answer. We were sat watching Swans and i managed to yell at some little T**ts and made a scene ^^ it's because you were there it's your fault xD
